Internet marketing is often portrayed as something that can make you rich overnight. Not just that, but many people selling make-money-products promise that it will be really easy and you won’t have to do any work at all.

This is, of course, not true. Most people who try their hand at making money online and fail, fail because they were not willing to put in any effort. If you want to make money, you will have to work for it. You will have to spend some of your time and put in a bit of effort, otherwise you’ll never see results.

2. It’s not impossible.

Maybe you were thinking that this whole make-money-online business was just a myth? That the only ones who ever made money on the net were scammers and spammers, perhaps? You’re not alone if that’s what you believe. But the good news is that online marketing really is something that works for many people. Some of them are students making a small income on the side with a website or two. If you’ve ever tried to learn to play an instrument, to dance, to speak a foreign language or even just to ride a bicycle, skis or a snowboard, you’ve experienced this exact process. To begin with, anything is difficult to do. And your first few attempts at anything are bound to be less than brilliant.

But once you’ve made those first few steps, learning becomes easier and so does succeeding! I think many people get into Internet marketing with wrong expectations and then quit when they encounter some difficulties for the first time.
